<strong>United States of America, July 2:</strong> A woman of many endowments, an actress, designer and a pop chanteuse, Hilary Duff will be showing off her acting skills on the hit show, “Gossip Girl”.

The actress will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at New York University (NYU) in search of a traditional college experience.

Duff winds up becoming Vanessa's room-mate in the third season of the show, which debuts this fall.

She said, "It's exciting. I've been meeting with writers. I'm ready to get back on TV."

Producers for "Gossip Girl" soon found a spot for the ‘Disney teen queen’ on the show.

Duff will debut in this season's fourth episode, scheduled to be aired on October 5.
