Fresh story, fresh pairs is what bollywood seems to be on the hunt for. And, it looks like, with Abhay Deol and Sonam Kapoor being paired together, this movie would react excitement about the chemistry between the new on-screen Jodi.

The movie, titled as “Ayesha” is going to be directed by veteran director Rajshri Ojha who is known for his offbeat sense of movie making with movies such as Chourahen, Yatna and Badger. The movie is all set to hit the floors in June this year as soon as Anil Kapoor is back in the town from US where he is shooting for the hit American TV series 24.

Sonam finally gets to kick off her traditional looks with “Ayesha” as compared to her previous two movies, ‘Saawariya’ and ‘Delhi 6’. In “Ayesha” she plays an ultra-modern girl who believes that she is very good at playing cupid whereas Abhay Deol would be playing the role of Sonam’s secret lover.

The movie is an adaptation of a famous novel, Emma by Jane Austin narrated in a modern outlook and in an Indian style. Sonam’s debut venture, ‘Saawariya’ was also an adaptation of the famous novel, ‘White Nights’.

We all hope that if not the earlier one but atleast this adaptation proves successful for Sonam Kapoor at the Box-Office and with Dad being at the helm of the affairs, she can afford to take a chill-pill.
