2nd May: Mumbai cops disrupted Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra’s party at her Seven Bungalows residence in Versova during the wee hours this Friday following complains of playing blaring music.

It is being alleged that cops reached Priyanka’s residence after a complaint was lodged by her neighbors for loud music being played at a party.

“Police control room received a complaint today at around 02.30 AM that loud music was being played in Raj Classic building in Versova. When police reached there, they found that party was going on in Priyanka's flat,” confirmed a Senior Police Inspector S Nalavade of the Versova police station.

Nalavade added that “The party was stopped immediately as it was causing disturbance in the vicinity. Police asked the organiser to pay Rs 5,000 as deposit amount and appear before the court.”

Although, no complaint was registered against the actress, the event organizer, DJ Raja Mohammad Bashir, was taken to the police station. He was, however, released by the police after he paid a fine of Rs. 5,000 for creating noise pollution.

“Muhammad, who is a DJ and singer, was charged with playing music without prior police permission. He was released on bail,” confirmed Nalavade.
