Sonam Kapoor, who is eagerly waiting for the release of her film 'Players', recently said that the credit for everything she has achieved in her career goes to her father Anil Kapoor.
“I am here (in Bollywood) because of my father. I am not one of those star-kids who say you don't know how hard I have worked and that it has nothing to do with my father," said the actress.
"My work has everything to do with my father. People treat me with respect because I am Anil Kapoor's daughter," she added.
Sonam made her acting debut alongside newcomer Ranbir Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali 'Saawariya', which was released in 2007.
Soman is dad's favorite
Also, the 'Saawariya' girl is proud of the fact that she is her dad's favourite child.
"Amongst all three kids, my dad is only concerned about my happiness," the actress confessed in an episode of UTV Stars' 'Superstar Santa.'
"I know that he is biased towards me. I have always been over-pampered by him," she added.
Sonam is the eldest of the three children. Her sister Rhea is producer, and brother Harshvardhan is studying in California.
