Releasing on December 9, ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ features Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma along with Aditi Sharma and Dipannita Sharma. The film also marks the début of Priyanka Chopra’s cousin, Parineeti Chopra.
About Ricky Bahl
Ricky Bahl (Ranveer Singh) is a suave, charming con-man who charms the ladies not to break their hearts, but just to take their money.
Everyone fails to recognize him as he disguises himself in different personalities.
Out of many girls fooled by Ricky, three of them are Dimple Chaddha (Parineeti Chopra), Raina Parulekar (Dipannita Sharma) and Saira Rashid (Aditi Sharma).
Storyline
Dimple Chaddha, a 19-year-old lass from Delhi, falls in love with a fitness trainer Sunny Singh, who betrays her at the end and vanishes with a huge amount of her money.
Next was Raina Parulekar, a 28-year-old diva in Mumbai, who is fooled by an art dealer Devan Shah.
A 24-year-old hardworking widow Saira Rashid manages her family’s cloth house business in old Lucknow. Saira is shocked when she is betrayed by her new friend Iqbal Khan.
The trio meet each other coincidently and realize that they have been fooled by the same man -- Ricky Bahl. They vow to take revenge from him and get their money back.
Meanwhile, Ricky meets his perfect opponent, Ishika Desai (Anushka Sharma), a young and ambitious girl, in Goa.
Who will win in this game of conning and revenge and how? To find out, watch 'Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl' this Friday.
Might be worth a watch
‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ seems like an interesting piece of entertainment. The tracks of the film are peppy and are among the top chartbusters.
Ranveer and Anushka’s on-screen chemistry also received appreciation by critics and viewers in their previous film ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’.
It will be interesting to see whether they were able to keep it up amid all the controversy surrounding their personal relationship.
Giving it a watch does not seem to be a bad idea.
