Kareena's wax figure will be seen standing alongside statues of famous Indian celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Sachin Tendulkar in the grand wax museum of London.
This certainly adds to Kareena's list of the accomplishments of Kareena, as she is only the 2nd Bollywood actress after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to have her wax statue at the museum.
Throughout the event, Kareena was seen with her mother Babita who was overwhelmed.

According to reports, the wax statue is look-alike of her from the famous song 'Mauja Hi Mauja' from the film 'Jab We Met.'
Kareena's comedy and romantic film 'Jab We Met' with the actor Shahid KapooJ was biggest hit of the year.
On unveiling the statue, she said, “It is an honour and a privilege for me to have my own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Blackpool and even more so to launch a global Bollywood exhibition. This is a moment of pride for Indian cinema.”
Total cost of making statue: £150,000
It cost £150,000 to make Kareena’s figure which got ready within four months.
On meeting Kareena at the event, a fan named Anil Singh told Yahoo News, “She is absolutely beautiful, she looks just like she does on film. Plus her figure is amazing – so glamorous just like the real Kareena. The whole Bollywood experience is magical and a real must-see for all, whether they are Bollywood fans or not!”
With the unveiling of wax statue, Kareena also marked the launch of Bollywood exhibition at Madame Tussauds till January 2012.
The main attraction of this exhibition will be the special Bollywood room which has been created within Madame Tussauds at Blackpool.
