Big B suffers injury on the sets of RGV’s ‘Department’

The Bollywood superstar left his fans rather worried when he took to the micro-blogging site on Wednesday to reveal that he had suffered a minor chest injury while shooting an action sequence for RGV’s ‘Department.’ Big B tweeted, “A minor incident on set during semi-action sequence ... got hit on chest rib cage, some damage inside, pain on breathing, bearable!”

However, the fans breathed a sigh of relief when the veteran actor confirmed on Friday that he had resumed shooting without much difficulty. “Since the chest rib pain persisted, doctors insisted for a scanning and I did a CT scan ...yes it's a hairline fracture in the rib. For fractures in the rib, nothing can be done as treatment. The pain will be there for another 3-4 weeks. It heals on its own ...damn!! But the brighter side is that I did shooting for 'Department' and it was a song and dance sequence and I did it quite smoothly without any incident,” Big B said on Twitter.

Soon after the Bollywood megastar revealed the news of his injury, he was flooded with tweets from concerned fans who were increasingly perturbed about his well being. “People of twitter world, relax! Should never have mentioned... just an accidental... hit by either an elbow or the butt of a carbine,” Big B went on to add.
