Kim Sharma called off her engagement with Spanish boyfriend Carlos Marin and married a wealthy...

Reportedly, the ‘Bodyguard’ heroine Kareena Kapoor, who has good reasons to party hard these days, turned a year older yesterday, on Sep. 21.
However, the high-flying actress was in no mood to celebrate the D-day by throwing a lavish b’day bash like the other celebs, since her would be father-in-law, Saif’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi is not keeping in the pink of heath of late.
Concerned for Saif’s father’s health, the diva gave up the idea to party on her birthday, and instead planned to visit some religious place to pray for her beau’s ailing father and seek blessings.
Expressing her concern for Saif’s dad, Bebo said, “We are all really worried and hope that he gets well soon.”
Talking about canceling her b’day bash, she added, “It’s the people around me who make my birthdays special, so whether it’s a lavish bash or a quiet dinner, it’s just as special for me.”
I believe in ‘living the now’ -- Kareena
While growing age is certainly a matter of concern for the Tinsel town beauties, the bold and beautiful Kareena seems to be least bothered about it.
Articulating the fact that her age doesn’t effect her, Bebo stated that she belives in ‘living the now’ and enjoying each and every moment that comes her way.
Fielding a question about turning a year older, the actress said, “Heroines may have a short shelf life, but actresses don’t.
“Besides, I’m not the kinds to chalk out plans for the future. I believe in ‘living the now’ and enjoying it to the fullest. And right now, I’m in a happy space professionally and personally.”
Kareena, Saif to walk down the aisle next year
When fans and well wishers are eagerly looking forward to the marriage of the star couple, Kareena and Saif, Chotey Nawab recently fuelled up their expectations by stating that they are mulling tying the knot next year.
The actor further added that he and Bebo have planned to get hitched after wrapping up their forthcoming film ‘Agent Vinod’.
Disclosing the wedding plans, Saif told NDTV, "It (the marriage) is something that I look forward to next year. It's just that in my experience whenever we talk about it beyond that it tends to become the headline and all our hardwork of trying to create an interesting film and chemistry falls flat and it becomes about the wedding, which is something that I respect and I'd like to discuss after this film is out of our way, so we'll talk about that next year sometime.”
