‘Bodyguard’ surpasses ‘Dabangg’ collections
Reportedly, the recently released Salman’s romantic-action outing has managed to garner a whopping 53 crore in just 3 days, which is apparently more than the superstar’s 2010’s blockbuster movie ‘Dabangg’s three day collection of 48.80 crore.
The movie’s opening day collection itself was more than that of ‘Dabangg’s, that is around 20 crore.
Trade Analysts are expecting the movie to do a business of 80 crore plus by its first weekend, which will be of 5 days.
Salman to be discharged from the hospital on Sep. 7
Salman, who flew to U.S. to get his painful nerve disorder treated, has reportedly undergone the surgery and is now doing fine.
As per sources, the superstar has to stay at the hospital for five more days, before getting back to work.
Apparently, Sallu is going to be discharged from the hospital on Sep. 7, after which the actor will be heading to Dublin for the shooting of YRF’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, which also stars his ex-flame Katrina Kaif.
A source told the daily, "The doctors will examine him on September 5 and if all is well he will be discharged from the hospital on September 7 and join the Dublin unit on September 9.”
Salman mulling remaking another South flick
After striking gold with the South remakes namely, ‘Wanted’, ‘Ready’ and ‘Bodyguard’, buzz is that Salman is mulling remaking another South flick.
Gossipmongers are suggesting that the high-flying Khan has found Bellamkonda Suresh’s latest offering ‘Kandireega’ to be engrossing, and is considering remaking it.
When contacted, the South filmmaker said, "Salman's brother asked me to send the print of the film and they watched the film.”
"Many people from Bollywood have been asking me about the film, apart from Salman. I haven't decided anything yet," he added.
Rumors are also afloat that besides ‘Kandireega’, Salman is also considering remaking the Mahesh Babu-starrer, yet to-be released film, ‘Dookudu’.
