Ash returns Heroine money, slams legal notice on Madhur

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been making headlines ever since Madhur Bhandarkar dropped her from his dream project ‘Heroine’.

Though a long argument, in which even the other leading actors debated, on whether working-in-pregnancy clause should be there or not followed in the industry circles, things had cooled down lately.

Now Aishwarya has again stirred gossip in Tinsel Town after she returned the signing amount of the film to Madhur. Reports claim that she has also snapped a legal action against the renowned filmmaker.

Confirming that it received the money, the production house said that Ash returned the money via a cheque of Rs 22.5 lakh.

Gossip doing the rounds claims that Aishwarya has been taken aback by the scandals that the movie has got her name involved in, and the legal notice prohibits Madhur from using stills and footage of Ash shot during her association with the film.

Ash is fed up
Confirming that she was pissed off by the stories that surfaced after she was dropped from the film, an insider said, “Ash is fed up of the whole thing. She has been ethical and professional about the matter. But, considering the way things ended on a sour note with Bhandarkar, she does not want him to use any of the stills or scenes that she had already shot at any point in the future.”

Even Aishwarya’s father in-law Amitabh Bachchan had come out and supported Ash when Madhur had alleged that he had been cheated, as he was not informed about the pregnancy beforehand.

Abhishek cancels paternity leave
With Abhishek mulling taking a paternity leave in November, ‘Dhoom 3’ had been postponed, but as Aamir Khan who is also in the third sequel, had date clashes, the makers have asked Abhishek to reconsider his decision.

Abhishek has reportedly agreed. "It was a professional decision on his part. He readily agreed when he understood the problem that the producers were in. Aamir does only one film at a time and he allots his dates well in advance. Abhishek will get a customary two days off on the day of delivery. And he is content with it," said a source.
