Dream girl Hema Malini was launched in Bollywood by Raj Kapoor.
The diva's debut movie...

Well, reports claim that the megastar was to lecture the students on the sensitive topic of reservation as it forms a crucial part of the movie, but the University authorities did not permit the same.
Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Prakash Jha said, "They didn't know whether we'd be arguing for or against job reservation. It's a thorny issue in that state, I understand.”
“But are we supposed to sweep sensitive issues under the carpet? How will our society develop if there's no debate? I think they just got scared. Don't ask of whom," he added.
‘Aarakshan’ being monitored by UP govt
Scuttlebutt has it that the Mayawati-led government in the state is keeping a close watch on the movie as it is based on an important issue of the society.
Prakash Jha said, “They were scared. I am not getting into whom they were scared of. Earlier during the marketing of Rajneeti, we were similarly barred from entering academic institutions in Delhi to discuss present day politics. We all know who they were scared of."
The ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap’ star has however refrained from making any comments on the issue, as even earlier his ‘Bhopal-related’ comments had sparked a controversy.
There is no ‘Aarakshan’ in Hindi film industry, says Big B
Meanwhile, during a promotional even at a radio station in Mumbai, Big B spoke about the film industry and his upcoming movie that also stars Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone.
“There is no 'aarakshan' in Hindi film industry. Rather I would say that Indian film industry is big example of national integration. When you stand in a line to buy a ticket you don't see whether you are standing in the queue with a Hindu, Muslim or Sikh,” he said.
Talking about his role, the 68-year-old star said, “I am playing a principal of a private institute who is a man of principles. He believes that everyone should be equally treated.”
'Aarakshan’ releases on August 12.
