Before becoming a Bollywood biggie, Aishwarya Rai's voice was rejected in an audition for voice...

Well, the director who is known to announce the releasing date of his movies much in advance has adopted a new strategy this time, and apparently, the delay is part of a smart business plan.
Reportedly, Karan Johar is waiting for release of Imran Khan’s ‘Delhi Belly’ and ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, which he feels will make the young actor very popular among the masses.
Rumors have it that there is no other reason for the delay as the movie that will see Kareena and Imran together for the first time is almost ready and can be released anytime soon.
KJo wants to bank upon Imran’s market value?
If critics are to be believed, Karan is playing his cards carefully and he knows that Imran’s popularity would rise after the two mega releases, which in turn can benefit his 'Short Term Shaadi'.
A trade insider reveals, “Imran Khan's Delhi Belly seems to be hot property with the immense buzz surrounding the movie. The film should undoubtedly get a record-breaking opening.”
"Then there is Yash Raj Films' Mere Brother Ki Dulhan where the fresh pairing of Imran and Katrina should again attract audiences. So, Imran Khan's market value is sure expected to rise after these two films".
Therefore, Karan feels that he would get great distribution response for his film and so November has been set as the release month for ‘Short Term Shaadi’.
Karan Johar rejects Boney Kapoor’s offer
Reports claim that Boney recently offered Rs 150 crore to Karan for the rights of Dharma Production's next three movies ‘Agneepath’, ‘Short Term Shaadi’ and another untitled film, but Karan rejected the offer.
A source reveals, "Karan, to say the least, was flabbergasted. He was right in not reciprocating. The offer was too miserly."
"On a conservative basis too, the making of Agneepath would be no less than Rs 70-80 crore. So how can Karan sell out three movies including Agneepath at just Rs 150 crore?” the source adds.
Well, Karan sure is acting quite wise these days!
