And though the split has only come out in the open recently, sources in the know have confirmed that the duo actually broke up in February this year.

"It was very obvious when John walked in solo on the sets of Koffee with Karan that they were done,” revealed the source.

“But he decided to keep shut, only opening up to few of his close friends. With Bips getting close to Josh after his recent break up with his girlfriend Sophia Lie, it was the right time for her to come out in the open,” added the insider.

Even tabloid reports claimed that Bipasha has decided to break the silence about their split, so that it would get easier for both of them to move on with their respective lives.

What went wrong for Bips and John?
The actress, who has Hollywood movie ‘Singularity’ and Abbas Mustan’s ‘Players’ in her kitty, has decided to move on with her life and said that she had never felt so good all these years.

One of the biggest reasons that led to their split was that despite ten years of courtship, John was still not ready on tying the knot.

“10 years is not a short time. Other couples would have settled down ages ago, but they obviously wanted to focus on their careers and make money,” revealed a source.
