Aamir Khan rejected the role of Rahul Mehra, portrayed by Shahrukh Khan, in the flick 'Darr' (...

Though the concert kicked off two and a half hours late, Akon compensated it by entertaining his fans with his top chartbusters, including 'Sorry Blame It On Me', 'Don't matter', 'Ghetto', 'Smack that', 'I Wanna love you', 'Dangerous', 'Beautiful', 'Taking it off' and 'Sunrise'.
To the utter surprise, the Senegalese-American singer Akon removed his black shirt, followed by his black vest which made his fans go gaga.
Akon does a Salman Khan
Similar to what the 'Dabangg' Khan does in his films and real life, Akon too removed his shirt and performed bared chest at the live in concert. Everything went hunky-dory when Akon's fans saw him sans shirt.
Surprisingly, the boys supported Akon by removing their shirts and waving it high. The girls even went crazy by this act and were seen shouting at the highest pitch of their voices.
"If you are a true Akon party animal, take off your shirts!” said the 38-year-old star at the event.
Akon removes status barriers
Renowned singer Akon was bewildered when he saw the status barriers at the event yesterday. He asked the crowd to remove the barriers and come forward to enjoy the concert.
The organizers had categorized the show with VVIP seats, who were placed away from the stage, audience with Gold tickets were placed in front of Akon, while fans with Silver tickets were positioned behind the barricades.
Akon was apparently quite disappointed with this allotment of seats and urged his fans, before beginning his show, to come forward.
“Come on all you people, come forward, come close! I am going to pay for it! Jump up the barriers! Let's turn this into a party!" said Akon.
“I got to tell you people that if my audience is suffering, I am not comfortable. There should be no class, and no matter how successful you are, I want to see you all together here.”
At the end, Akon, who has tagged India as his second home, assured his fans to return to India next year with lots of fun and entertainment.
