The latest buzz doing the rounds in Tinsel town is that the actress said that she has only five friends in Mumbai, and Ranveer was one of them.

About her bonding with the actor, the ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ girl said that there was a platonic, karmic connection that the two shared.

In a conversation with The Times of India, the actress said, “Ranveer is genuinely a friend that I have in the industry. We have had a similar journey in the industry. We are great friends, we hang out, we have coffee together, we got out for dinners and we have common friends.”

"Friendship is a very big thing. I don't have that with anybody except Ranveer. Friendship happens with like minded people,” Anushka added.

Anushka finds Ranveer hotter than Ranbir
When the ‘Patiala House’ actress denied her link-up with Ranveer Singh, she was linked to Casanova Ranbir Kapoor, who said that he wanted to work with her.

But, when Anushka was asked who was hotter between the two stars, she was quick to reply that Ranveer Singh was hotter.

“Ranveer Singh is definitely hotter than Ranbir Kapoor,” she gushed, giving ample hints that obviously there was some truth in all the talks about her closeness with Ranveer Singh.

‘Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl’ is not a copy, she says
Defending her upcoming movie ‘Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl’, in which she will be again seen with her friend and BBB co-star Ranveer Singh, Anushka said that it was not a copy of any Hollywood movie.

"You know what, it's really sad but true that the first thing when a film is announced, so many out there want to start drawing parallels with what has already been made. No one cares that all of us are working hard on making an original product", said Anushka.

"I am now used to accepting things the way they are. Let the people say their own thing, they will eventually see what we have made when the film releases in December this year”, she added.
