Filmmaker Karan Johar was sued in UK court for using a song 'It's Raining Men' from Geri...
Tabloids have it that during the closing ceremony of the grand FCCI Frames Conclave, held at Mumbai, the ‘Wolverine’ famed actor Hugh Jackman articulated that he liked KJo’s SRK starrer MNIK so much so that he wanted to be a part of its sequel.
When on stage with Shahrukh, Hugh said, "I love My Name Is Khan and I think I should act in the sequel to the film, which we can call 'My Name Is Jackman' with a tagline - and I'm not a tourist."
Well, ‘My Name Is Khan’ was a blockbuster at the box-office in 2010, and had fetched SRK humongous accolades globally. So, chances of SRK letting its sequel go to someone else are very scarce.
Hugh dances to SRK’s tunes
Apparently, in order to prove himself better than the Baadshah of Bollywood, Hugh even showed his dancing skills, when asked for by SRK, the MINK hero and host to the foreign guest at the star studded event.
The two superstars rocked on the dhak dhak girl Madhuri Dixit’s ‘dhak dhak’ track and left the spectators with their mouths wide open.
The foreign actor not only made an honest attempt to follow SRK’s dance steps, but also tried to utter the lyrics of the song, just as the latter was doing.
Well, after this huge dose of entertainment, filmmaker Karan Johar, who played a key role in bringing Jackman to India, must be in a fix over his MNIK sequel’s male lead.
It is great to be here in Mumbai—Hugh
The Hollywood hunk Hugh Jackman along with wife Deborra Lee Furness is on a four day trip to India.
Hugh was a special guest at the FICCI Frames Conclave, held in Mumbai. He was there to talk about the on going trends in Bollywood and Hollywood in the final session titled, 'Cinema and the Closing Gap between Hollywood and Bollywood.’
Talking highly about India, Hugh said, "Thank you FICCI for having us here. It is great to be here in Mumbai. I and my wife (Deborra-Lee Furness) have longed to come to India so we are thrilled to be here. It's a great country.”
While King Khan played a host to the foreign guest at the FCCI Frames, moviemaker Karan Johar was the representative of the session.
B-town diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan honored Jackman with a souvenir.
