'Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji' : Humorous Take on Men
Reports claim that the movie looks into the day-to-day lives of the common man and everyone can relate with one of the three male protagonists of the film, played by Ajay Devgan, Emraan Hashmi, and Omi Vaidya.
The film is a brilliant take on how different people perceive the wonderful feeling called love, with some wanting to fall in love and others wanting to escape from it.
Unlike all the other romantic comedies dolled out by Bollywood, this one is not a shilly-shallying movie and the feelings have not been candy-flossed, but they seem real.
“The love that springs out of ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’ can be easily recognized as a form of deep sentiment which you and I must have felt in our own lives sometime or the other,” says an excited Madhur Bhandarkar, who has been known for directing serious movies.
Talking about the movie, ‘DTBHJ’ is a realistic portrayal of life that chronicles around three guys Naren Ahuja (Devgan), Milind Kelkar (Vaidya), and Abhay Suri (Emraan Hashmi).
All the three guys are poles apart. While Naren is a listless middle-aged man who has not fallen in true love, Milind is an idealistic poet-cum-lover, who wants to desperately fall in love, is seen finding the perfect would-be woman for his friends.
Then there is Abhay, a woman-seducer to whom, love is an alien feeling and who wants women but does not want commitment.
The ladies in their lives are June Pinto (Shazahn Padamsee), Gungun Sarkar (Shraddha Das), and Nikki (Shrutti Hassan).
As the relatable story progresses, what all people do to fall in love or to avoid is highlighted in this movie that is expected to go well with the youth.
The one-liner ‘Love Grows… Men Don’t’ aptly summarizes ‘Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji’.
Bollywood pundits believe that DTBHJ will set the box office on fire and predict it to do exceptionally well as this one is a an entertainer to the hilt.
