Rumor has it that the 23-year-old actress, who has been down with high fever for some time now, is busy fulfilling all her professional commitments.
Kangana could not be reached for a comment. But a close associate of the actress revealed, “Kangana has viral fever and is very weak but is continuously shooting for all her commitments. The doctor has been accompanying her to all her shoots.”
The source further added that Kangana had even collapsed due to weakness three days ago, while promoting her upcoming film ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ on the reality television show ‘Zor Ka Jhatka’, hosted by superstar Shahrukh Khan.
Apparently, Kangana not just participated in the promotional works of TWM, but also shot for a song in TWM and even finished the entire shooting schedule of her other films, ‘Rascals’ and ‘Dhamaal 2'.
TWM’s director going gaga over Kangana’s professionalism
‘Tanu Weds Manu’s’ director Aanand L Rai has nothing, but praises for the actress. When the director was contacted, he confirmed that despite being down with viral fever, Kangana, who’s quite busy this year, did not let her work suffer even for a day.
“Despite fever, she made time to shoot for the climax and a song. She is also doing promotional activities for the film. We appreciate her professionalism,” said Rai.
Kangana bids adieu to high-on-emotional-drama films
Kangana’s upcoming ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, opposite Madhavan (releasing on Feb. 25), is a rom-com and most of her films to be released this year are either action or comedy.
Kangana, who gathered lots of appreciation for her intense performances in her debut film ‘Gangster’ and later on in ‘Fashion', recently said that this year her focus is on films that are not high-on-emotional-drama.
Kangana has five films in her kitty this year, besides TWM, and they are ‘Power’, ‘Game', ‘Dum Maro Dum’, ‘Rascals' and ‘Dhamaal 2'.
