However, when Celina was contacted, she rubbished her hush-hush wedding rumors and revealed that instead she has gotten engaged to Peter.

“I am not married to Peter. But we exchanged rings and got engaged this year in front of my parents, during the auspicious time of Durga Puja,” said the 29-year-old actress, who kept her relationship under-wraps until now.

Apparently, Celina, who regularly visits Dubai, has been dating Peter for 10 months now.

She further revealed that her wedding rumors has caused a lot of trouble for her as no one even knew about her engagement.

"My grandmother was shocked as we hadn't told anyone about the engagement, except our parents. He's a boy from another country and my grandparents are traditional,” added Celina. However, all is well now.

Celina intends to make official announcement
After winning Femina Miss India in 2001, Celina debuted in Bollywood with ‘Janasheen’ in 2003. Though, she has done several films, but failed to make a successful career in Bollywood.

As the talks progressed, she revealed that she has been dating Peter for past 10 months but did not make her relationship status public as her private life is nobody's business.

The blue-eyed actress, who is supporter of gay rights, further added that they will make proper announcement whenever they will get hitched.

Too busy to get married?
So when exactly are they planning to get married. On this Celina said that presently she’s busy with work commitments and does not have time to tie the knot as of now.

“I have so many releases and endorsements coming up in the next couple of years that marriage are not on the cards yet. But Peter and I do plan to get married one day,” said the actress.

Celina recently underwent a knee surgery in Austria as her knee was troubling her since her performance at the Country Club in Dubai. She’s currently filming for Anees Bazmee’s upcoming ‘Thank You.’
