TMK gets third biggest opening

Surprising for many, but Farah Khan's 'Tees Maar Khan' received the third biggest opening by a Hindi movie, despite the average rating given by the critics.

Believe it or not, 'Tees Maar Khan' (TMK) has got good response at the UK box-office, and sources say that till now, it's one of the highest earning Bollywood flicks in the UK.

Box-office response
According to the latest box-office reports, TMK, which released in nearly 2300 screens worldwide, managed to get a big opening, but whether collections will be big to cover up the film's budget of 50 crore is yet to be known as the response of the film on Friday evening was less as compared to the morning.

On Saturday, the film managed to garner 13.50 crore nett, thus, leading the total collections to 26.50 crore nett approx.

Compared with 'Tees Maar Khan', the other two releases, 'Toonpur Ka Superrhero' and 'Isi Life Mein' had dull collections, and could not manage to leave an impression on the audience.

Evidently, the film is expected to have less collections on Sunday, and glean a total of 36-38 crore nett.

Farah happy with the response
The director of 'Tees Maar Khan', Farah, is currently ecstatic about the collections of her film, and even tweeted about it on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Talking about the film collections on Saturday, Farah wrote, “Thank you all! Saturday collections EVEN bigger than fridays!! Now going shopping with my angels. Merry christmas to you all :-)”

But will 'Tees Maar Khan' manage to make the cash registers ringing at the box-office, is still to be answered.
