Apparently, SRK and Karan Johar are not in friendly terms with PNC for over six years and certainly would not have imagined in their wildest dream that Arjun would team up with the banner.

Industry insiders believe, Arjun’s this decision can prove fatal for not just his friendship with the duo, but with his career too as it’s no secret that they are responsible for saving Arjun’s sinking film career.

Arjun started out as a model and was supposed to make his Bollywood debut with ‘Moksha’ in 2001. However, for some reason, the film got delayed by few months and he ended up making his debut with ‘Pyar Ishq Aur Mohabbat’ in the same year.

Both films failed to make any impact on box-office, but Arjun got noticed for his performances. However, one hit that could have established Arjun kept eluding him until he met SRK and KJo.

About the infamous rift
It all started at the private screening of Sanjay Dutt-Aishwarya Rai starrer ‘Shabd’ when PNC head honcho Pritish Nandy’s daughter Rongita (producer ‘Shabd’) abruptly asked KJo and SRK’s wife Gauri to leave the screening.

Till date, no one knows why Rongita did something like that, but after the incident SRK and KJo vowed to boycott all the functions/parties hosted by PNC.

Even their friends and associates followed the suit as no one wanted to have industry biggies as their foe.

Rongita confirms Arjun's presence
So far, Arjun has not officially confirmed his presence in PNC’s upcoming film. However, when Rongita was contacted, she confirmed Arjun’s presence.

“Yes, we are doing a film with Arjun and it starts this month and we will make an official announcement soon," said Rongita.

Rumor has it that Arjun is being offered a huge sum of money for it, hence, he decided to go with it.

However, one wonders, after Rongita’s confirmation, how long Arjun will be able to maintain peace with his good buddies.
