"I turn 25 today and I have no qualms over talking about my age,” said the actress, who has decided to celebrate her birthday with close family and friends.

She also revealed the reason behind not hiding her age like other actresses in Bollywood.

“I started doing movies when I was 14. Back then, I couldn't even think of hiding my age. All my earlier interviews are still available. So, today, even if I try, I can't hide my age," said the actress.

Asin made her Bollywood debut opposite Aamir Khan with Hindi remake of her hit Tamil film ‘Ghajini'.

Pleasant surprises in store for Asin
As the interview progressed, Asin revealed that she was pleasantly surprised when three of her childhood friends, who live in different countries, recently flew to Mumbai just to celebrate her birthday.

“I am feeling very special. School friends from New York, Australia and Liverpool have come here for my birthday. We are having a blast for the past couple of days,” said elated Asin, who seemed to be enjoying the visit.

She added that she knows her parents too are planning pleasant surprises for her just like they do every year.

“Every year my mom gifts me something in gold, so this time too I’m expecting gold jewellery — maybe something set with diamonds. On the other hand my father has kept his gift a secret,” said the actress.

No one special in life yet
When asked about her alleged link-ups and whether she’s currently dating anyone or not, Asin said that link-up reports does not bother her anymore and she’s not dating anyone at the moment as she’s quite busy.

"I too read so many stories about myself. Being in the movie business, I don't mind them as long as they don't get overboard. I haven't met anybody special. Besides, I've been too busy with work," concluded the young starlet.
