It’s believed that Vipul and his lead stars came up with this interesting marketing strategy when they had a long discussion with the marketing team.

Incidentally, they felt that a retro look will not appeal to the audiences through words and visuals but can be made convincing when they as a person can show it to them.

Speaking on this, Vipul stated, “We felt that the charm of retro can’t be conveyed convincingly in mere words or visuals. It would make a bigger impact if we show it to the people.”

This could be the first time where this kind of promotional campaign is kicking off. And Vipul, who had openly revealed about their new kind of campaign, is still not sure which car could be used for the drive date.

“Since I’ve gifted the Beetle to Aarav, I can’t use that. In our film, I also used an open convertible Dodge Impala in bright red. So we just might bring it back as its colour will add significantly to the overall impact of Akshay and Aishwarya’s drive,” further added the filmmaker about the car to be used for the promos.

She may be referred to as the world’s most beautiful woman, even after 14-years since she won the title, but surprisingly, the fame and adulation hasn’t touched Aish even today.

Talking about Aishwarya, Vipul stated, "I think this entire 'Diva' thing attached to Ash is just a media perceived image."

"She is still a very simple girl at heart and really, you don't even have to scratch the surface for that. All this success and glory has not touched her at all even till date. She is just as simple as she was when she had started off years ago," further added the filmmaker.
