Russell Brand, Katy Perry will tie the knot Indian style in Jaipur?

As per tabloids buzz, Hollywood’s A-list couple British comedian Russell Brand and US pop-singer Katy Perry is all set to tie the knot in a traditional Indian wedding ceremony in Jaipur, India.

Though, the venue for the ceremony is yet to be officially confirmed, tabloids are suggesting with conviction that the wedding will be taking place at the Rambagh Palace in Jaipur as Brand had proposed to Katy Perry there on New Year ’s Eve.

As per an insider close to the couple, “The procession will start at the gate of the hotel, with the bridegroom sitting on a beautifully decorated horse that is escorted by camels and elephants.

"Folk dancers then welcome the couple with a traditional routine, fireworks and a special buggi (horse-driven cart) ushering them into the main garden for the wedding."

However, the couple will still have to go for a civil ceremony in US to make their marriage valid there.

Other details
Though, the date for the wedding, just like venue, is not yet officially announced, some sources are suggesting that the couple will be tying the knot on Oct. 23 in a Hindu ceremony in front of close family members and friends.

Reportedly, some 50 to 75 of couple’s closest family and friends will be flown on a private jet to reach the venue on Oct. 19 as couple wants to celebrate days leading up to their big day.

Russell on wedding details
While Katy is maintain “no comment” stance on her fast approaching wedding, Russell, on other hand is not opposed to revealing few tiny details about the wedding.

"We just love each other and we want to get married in front of our friends and family. It ain't about selling the pictures, it ain't about doing no pre-nup, it's just a normal thing," revealed Brand in an interview to a magazine recently.

However, he refused on comment on tabloids reports that wedding will be a seven day celebrations.

"I'm trying to preserve it, to keep it a beautiful thing. I think people get the wrong idea on how we want the wedding to play out," added Brand.
