Akshay Kumar mobbed by crazy girl fans

After turning a DJ at Polyster, a suburban retro club in Mumbai, on Saturday night for a promotional campaign for his upcoming film ‘Action Replayy’, Akshay was in for a shock, as he got himself mobbed badly by the gang of girls at the night club.

It’s also learnt that the girls went berserk and also torn his jacket during their impromptu photo session with the actor.

Speaking about this, director Vipul Shah stated, “The moment Akshay entered the club, there was a roar among the people present at the place... there was this bunch of young girls who insisted on clicking pictures with him but the photo session went a bit out of control and Akshay's jacket got torn in a place.”

Vipul and Akshy took the back entrance to leave
Taking a cue from the latest reports, it’s believed that the club was packed out and none of the youngsters had a chance to enter the club and so in turn they took revenge by breaking the furniture and glass.

Apart from Akshay and Vipul, the other cast member Aditya Roy Kapoor was present at the event. Seeing the mad rush and the chaos at the club, the three decided to leave by the back door, but unfortunately they had a mob waiting for them even at the back entrance.

“Without any further choice, the cast pushed their way out even in the mad crowd. It was a nightmare. It took us a good half an hour to make our way from the back entrance to Akshay's car. By then the damage was done,” added the director.

Ash was supposed to be a part of the promotional activity
Vipul heaved a sigh of relief for Aishwarya not making it for the promotional activity, after going through the terrifying incident.

However, for Akshay the event was so much fun as he did get a chance to play his favorite songs from the 70’s.

When Akshay was asked about the incident, he stated, “Hota hai. It was good fun. I got to play my favourite John Travolta track. It's a pity my event with John didn't materialize. I was out of town when he was in Mumbai. And when I returned he had left Mumbai."
