Imran and Avantika, who have been dating each other since long, got engaged this year on Jan. 16. A source closed to the couple revealed that just recently all the details about the wedding were finalized.

"The wedding details got finalized recently," revealed a source. However, the exact date for the ceremony is yet to be finalized.

At first, it was being speculated that Imran and Avantika will tie the knot sometime this year.

Though, the actor made it clear couple of months ago that he’s busy with his professional commitments and will be getting married only after finishing them as he wants to enjoy his wedding day.

Lavish wedding ceremony in store?
Rumor has it, the wedding will be held in Thailand at an exclusive palatial resort somewhere in Koh Samui and will be a lavish affair.

However, it will be attended by few close family and friends of the couple.

Initially, reports suggested that the wedding will be taking place in Mumbai, however, it seems like, the couple wants to keep the whole affair strictly private, so are holding the ceremony outside the country.

Sources, few months back, also suggested that it will be a simple registered marriage.

“It will not be a nikkaah. It would be a simple registered marriage. Only a few close friends and family members shall be invited to the ceremony. The wedding arrangements have started,” revealed a source few months ago.

Imran wrapping up work?
As per insiders, the actor these days is busy wrapping up all his professional commitments or at least adjusts the dates in such a manner so that he can devote sometime to his wedding preparations.

Reportedly, Imran has requested filmmaker Karan Johar to adjust the shooting dates of his film ‘Short Term Shaadi’ so that he can get married.
