Katrina to sport abstract, punk tattoos in YRF's next

Katrina Kaif might be a tyro with her acting skills, but that doesn't stop her from experimenting things. The actress, is now readying to get inked for her next with Imran Khan.

Debutant director Ali Abbas Zafar, who will be casting the duo in Yashraj’s next untitled venture, has shortlisted 20-25 designs that will be tattooed on Kat’s body.

Kaif gets spunky animal tattoos
Buzz has it that Katrina's character in the film is that of a rebellious girl which required her donning abstract body art, though temporary.

Initially, Kaif was unwilling to get her skin needled, but later agreed to the idea of a temporary tattoo.

A source close to Katrina revealed, “The actress likes tattoos but is scared of the needles. One doubts if she will get a permanent tattoo in the future. But for the moment she is comfortable to get inked temporarily. Anything to get in the skin of the character.”

Recently, Kaif visited a popular tattoo artist to choose her designs. “Ali Abbas had shortlisted 20-25 designs, and Katrina chose abstract designs over animals or human sketches which would go with her rebellious character,” the source revealed.

A source from the unit informed, “Katrina plays a rebel in the film sporting a grungy punk look. She will be getting interesting abstract tattoos, which will, of course, be temporary in nature.”

Confirming the news, Katrina said, “Yes we are using tattoos in the film but my director Ali Abbas Zafar is choosing them.”

This is not the first time Kaif is getting tattoos all over her body, earlier, the pricey actress underwent piercing just below her lip and got her arm tattooed in 'Blue' also.

Katrina in Bollywood on an employment visa
Its been eight years since Katrina debuted in Bollywood with 'Boom' and surprisingly, the actress is still working in films on an employment visa.

Reportedly, Kaif is not an Indian citizen and hasn't even applied for it.

Well, there are many outsiders in Bollywood, who prefer staying on an employment visa rather than applying for Indian citizenship, and, when necessary, extend their visa limit.
