Since then the two ex-lovers have been avoiding each other. Even for the patch work of their much delayed and now flopped film ‘Milenge Milenge,' they never met eye to eye.

But now, if things go as planned, director Siddharth Malhotra whose film ‘We Are Family’ opened at theaters this Thursday might bring the two ex's together.

Will a comedy bring the ex-lovers together?
After ‘We Are Family,' Siddharth had originally planned his second film with Kajol. But since the actress will be on a maternity break from work, the director has penned another script, a father-daughter comedy.

Siddharth hopes to rope in Rishi Kapoor and his niece Kareena, as father and daughter in the film. For another male lead who would have a romantic angle with Kareena, the director might rope in Shahid, who is his very good friend.

Siddharth says, “I was the Associate Director of ‘Vivah’. Shahid and I have been close since then. Now we’re even closer. I really value his judgement.”

Kareena miffed with ‘Milenge Milenge’
When ‘Milenge Milenge’ was about to release after five years, Kareena, the leading lady of the film became upset with Boney Kapoor for using the line `They are back together’ in the promos.

It is obvious that Kareena wants to stay as far away from her ex-boyfriend Shahid Kapoor as possible. Hence, something that merely suggests that she and Shahid were once together miffed her. Kareena also feelt cheated because she went out of her way to help Boney Kapoor finish the film.

However Boney Kapoor said, “There are all kinds of rumours floating around and there is no truth to this. Kareena even did a photo shoot with us and she has not said anything to me about being upset.”
