Reportedly, Katrina walked out of Abbas-Mustan's 'Italian Job,' in which she was paired opposite Abhishek, citing date problems.

Though rumor has it that she refused to work with Abhi due to his dipping career and failures at box-office one after the other, his last one being with none other than wife Aishwarya.

All this has not gone well with the Bachchan family especially wife Aish, who has now asked Abhishek to opt out of the project.

Abhishek out of Dostana 2?
According to rumor mills doing the rounds, Aish, 35, dosen't seem to like her ex's present too much and got fumed up after Katrina left 'The Italian Job' and is revengefully discouraging Abhi to work in Karan Johar's 'Dostana 2.'

A source close to Aishwarya revealed, "Ash is known to use her influence in deciding her husband's projects.

“She has been telling her friends about how Katrina Kaif dumped the Abbas-Mustan film because there was not much for her to do in a film starring Abhishek. Now, she wants Abhishek to avoid Dostana 2 ."

On the other hand, a source close to Katrina said, "Katrina has been preparing for this role for a long time. If Abhishek were to drop the film at this stage, it would mean rescheduling the shooting again,"

A director friend of Abhishek on the condition of anonymity said, “Abhishek values his wife's judgment a lot and will always take what she says seriously. If she is trying to influence him against working with Katrina, he might just end up taking it seriously. These things keep happening in the industry.”

Sonakshi in 'The Italian Job'?
The remake of 'The Italian Job' has run into trouble because the directors have not been able to zero in on the female lead yet. Before Katrina, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone too have walked out of the film.

Abbas said, "Why is there so much noise about Katrina leaving our film? She left because of date problems and she is no longer associated with the film."

Rumors are also rife that 'Dabangg' debutant star Sonakshi might also replace Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif for the lead role in 'The Italian Job.'

"We are still looking for the female lead and are considering other heroines. It will take us some time to finalise a name," Abbas added.
