Ajay spotted by a non-governmental organization
A police complaint was filed by the Director of Health Services Dr Rajnanda Dessai on May 31 and claimed that the actor had violated section 4 of the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003 (COTPA).
The 41-year-old actor was spotted by a non-governmental organization, National Organisation For Tobacco Eradication (NOTE). Even the local newspaper had a clipping of Ajay smoking publically.
The NGO is quite happy about the immediate action taken by the police, and has even written to the Union Ministry Of Health and Family Welfare to take strict action against the star.
Ajay was also fined earlier for smoking at a public place in Chandigarh late January, this year.

Not only Ajay, during the IPL matches, King Khan of Bollywood, Shahrukh was involved in a controversy for public smoking.
Other famed actors like Salman Khan and Aamir, to name a few, also follow the same trend. Though they had quit the habit, their hectic work schedules led to resuming the habit.
