After Sonakshi sinha, Luv Sinha, Shraddha Kapoor, and Aditya Narayan, it's producer Boney Kapoor's son with ex-wife Mona, Arjun Kapoor, who is all prepared to make a Bollywood debut early next year.
Arjun Kapoor to debut opposite Sonakshi?
Though speculations about the “big daddy launch” have been rife from sometime now, Boney had refrained from making any statements on his son’s future.
But now, Boney confirms saying, “I think Arjun is ready for a launch. He knows the ropes of filmmaking. He has worked with Karan Johar and Nikhil Advani and assisted the latter in 'Kal Ho Na Ho.' Arjun is now ready to face the camera.”
Kapoor intends to launch his 24-yr-old son early next year. “I do have a timeframe for his launch, yes. I want to complete the sequel of No Entry, which is in the process of being scripted now. Then I’ll get onto Arjun’s project,” he said.
Reportedly, Arjun was once dating Salman's sister, Arpita but she later dumped him for business tycoon Pramod Goenka’s son, Yash. Buzz has it that now Arjun will be paired with Sonakshi Sinha in his debut movie.
Boney to launch Arjun in 'Mr. India' sequel?
Boney Kapoor may be planning his son's big entry into the Bollywood next year, but he refused to share any details.
He reluctantly said, “I’ve a few ideas on what to do with Arjun’s launch. At the moment that’s all I am ready to divulge.”
When asked if Boney is planning to cast Arjun in the sequel to super hit film 'Mr India', Boney said, “That’s some way off. We haven’t cracked any plot. We haven’t even got a director as yet.”
No acting for daughters
As far as his two daughters, Jhanvi and Khushi with Sridevi are concerned, Boney is not sure if they would eventually pursue a career in acting.
He said, “It’s too early to say. If either of them wants to get into acting, I’d be too happy to do the needful.”
“But, right now acting is not on cards,” he added.
