In an interview, when Sonakshi was asked about her equation with Salman, she gushed, “Salman is a wonderful person. I am inspired by him in a lot of ways. Right from my fitness regime to my painting fascination, its all because of Salman.”

The dusky debutante not only shares a warm bond with the 'Dabangg' star, she has a beautiful relationship with other members of the Khan family too.

“I have known them since sometime now. They are very warm people but I am very close to Alvira. Even the kids are cool. I am great pals with Alvira, Arbaaz and Sohail’s kids. It’s fun to have them around,” the actress revealed.

In fact, at one instance when asked to comment on her intimacy with the ‘Dabangg’ star, the 23-year-old actress, revealed, “You know what? Salman’s family keeps telling me that now I have become Sonakshi Khan.”

Of course, the actress might just be talking about the great bond she shares with Salman and his family, but considering his alleged break-up with girlfriend Katrina Kaif, rumor mills are raving about his ever increasing closeness with Sonakshi.

Sonakshi gives her first paycheck to 'Being Human'
Daughter of veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha, Sonakshi donated her first signing amount to Salman's foundation, 'Being Human,' saying that the first pay cheque is always special and she was glad it will be used for a right cause.

Sonakshi said she believed in the “art of giving” and her parents always encouraged her to do charity work.

“Being Human was my first choice for charity as Salman is totally hands on with the foundation and always asks all of us for ideas and initiatives,” she said.

“There are some institutions you cannot trust. With Being Human, there was no such worry. I know my donation will make a difference to the lives of the needy,” Sonakshi added.
