The film is directed by Pardeep Sarkar, who would be looking forward to secure a hit after the no-show performance of his last film ‘Laaga Chunri Mein Daag’ on the box office.

The film boosts of six original soundtracks composed by former band member of ‘Agosh’ R Anandh and the lyrics are provided by Swanand Kirkire.

Sneak preview into the story of ‘Lafangey Parindey’
‘Lafangey Parindey’ is a story about two entirely different people--One-Shot wild and feisty Nandu and ambitious Pinky, who were brought together by fate.

Nandu is a champion street fighter, who loves to fight blindfolded. He lives life as he wishes and is a hero among his friends.

Pinky Palkar is a blind girl but ambitious nonetheless. She works in a mall to support herself and is also a talented dancer on skates. She wants to fulfill her dream to be a dancer; however, the only obstacle in her way is her visually challenged status.

Fate brings Nandu and Pinky together and they along with their group of friends set on a journey to achieve the impossible.

Challenging role of Deepika’s life
While promoting the movie Deepika revealed that preparing for her role as a blind girl on skates in ‘Lafangey Parindey’ was toughest role so far in her career as she not just did lot of research to get her act right but prepared hard too to look the part.

"For me, this role out of all the films that I have done was the most challenging. It’s not been easy. It required a lot of focus and concentration. I had to observe a lot of blind people before I could play this role," said Deepika.
