Sonam hasn’t received any film offers to act with her dad
Eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming film ‘Aisha’, and hoping to share screen space with her daddy dearest in the near future, Sonam stated, “The only film I can think of doing with my father is something like ‘Father of The Bride’."

Besides, this impeccable stylish lady also stated that until now she and her father haven’t received any film offers to act together. However, Sonam is quite clear that if someone is all geared up to cast both of them in a film, the cue for them would be ‘Father of The Bride’.

Sonam wants to direct someday
The sassy lass is currently basking in the glory of the rave reviews she has been getting for her looks in her last stunner ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ and for the much-awaited stylish film ‘Aisha’.

The actress, who started her film career as an assistant for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, had recently revealed that she would want to direct films someday.

However, Sonam also clarified that her first love is acting and she would continue it till her last breath. Currently enjoying her Bollywood acting career, Sonam knows that she can switch gears and take up direction as it’s always an open field for her.

“I think I shall direct in a couple of years. I am literally itching to direct," stated Sonam.

Surprisingly, the actress is not in a hurry to go behind the camera, since she wants to figure out what she would like to direct. Sonam has given herself a time frame of ten years from now before she would go behind the camera.

The ‘Aisha’ girl, who is currently shooting in Scotland for ‘Mausam’ with Shahid Kapoor, is looking forward to be back to Mumbai on July 27 to begin promoting her upcoming film ‘Aisha’.
