"I hate 'I Hate Luv Storys' for being a big hit"—Ram Gopal Verma

Recently, filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma took his war-of-words with filmmaker Karan Johar to another level by posting on his Twitter page that he hates ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ and is finding it hard to believe that the film is a hit.

"I hate 'I Hate Luv Storys' for being a big hit and I love I Hate Luv Storys because its K Jo's (Karan Johar's) film, who I love to hate and hate to love and that's our love-hate story," read Verma’s posted message on his Twitter page.

RGV’s opinion on Karan’s new hit movie did not come as a surprise as the duo is busy trashing each other’s works for some time now.

Karan not offended with RGV’s take on IHLS
RGV’s reaction to ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ might seem predictable to people keeping tabs on the duo’s battle of wits.

However, surprisingly, Karan did not take the bait to shoot a nasty message himself. Instead, he took RGV’s posting lightly and tweeted back with:

"Superb tweet Ramu!!! You couldn't have worded our 'story' better!!

IHLS doing better than trade analysts’ prediction
Even before ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ hit the theatres, trade analysts had started to write-off the film as just another stereotyped love story, which if successful, would only be so because of aggressive marketing and promotion.

‘I Hate Luv Storys’ did start slow on the box office, and trade analysts started to predict that the film most certainly won’t survive the weekends and Bharat Bandh on July 5.

However, things turned in favor of the film as it picked speed on the box office on the weekends and did even better on July 5 when theatres opened in the evening.

It is predicted that if the film keeps going strong on BO like this it surely will make a buissness of 50 crores in near future.
