Music stars coming together to pay tribute to pop-legend
Fans plan, to hold a memorial bash in memory of Michael Jackson near his graveside, might have failed because of officials. However, music stars in Hollywood have found a better way to pay tribute to the singer on television.
Reportedly, singers such as LL Cool, Christina Aguilera, Marc Anthony and Smokey Robinson have all agreed to pay tribute to the legend on CBS News ‘The Early Show’ on Friday.
"A Michael Jackson comes around literally once in a lifetime. They break the mold and I think there are people who just sacrifice their life, their personal life all for the arts. That's what Michael did; he sacrificed his life for the arts,” said Marc Anthony, praising the dead singer for his love for music.
Michael faked his voice?
Amid all the talks of paying final tribute to the legend on his first death anniversary, his spiritual adviser Reverend June Gatlin has started another controversy by saying that the pop sensation faked his high-pitched voice.
"His voice was not high pitched. It was deep - a real man's voice,” said Gatlin.
Even singer’s biographer Ian Halperin said that the singer in real had deep, masculine voice but altered his voice to be liked by the public.
"He wanted to act like a boy. He felt it was a way for the public to like him more," said Halperin.
