The hard work and dedication that she had put into the film has impressed director Prakash Jha so much that he has planned to cast her in his next flick ‘Aarakshan’.

‘Aarakshan’, like ‘Rajneeti’, would be a politics-based film, highlighting the reservation agenda.

A little about the film
Here, Katrina will play a doting daughter of none other than Amitabh Bachchan, who plays an equally loving father.

The lead male actor of the film ‘Aarakshan’ would be Ajay Devagan, who plays the role of backward class student in a college, where Amitabh Bachchan is a principal.

Big B’s role in this film is entirely inspired by his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

Devagan plays principal’s favorite, who supports reservation, and principal’s daughter Katrina plays his love interest.

Katrina’s role in ‘Aarakshan’ as Amitabh’s daughter will hopefully another feather to her cap.

Katrina hopes for bigger gains this time with Bachchan
Katrina got a chance to work with Big B rite in her debut movie ‘Boom’, but since the movie was big flop she could not gain much out of it.

After ‘Boom’ Katrina again got a chance to co-work with papa Bachchan in ‘Sarkar’, but owing to her small screen presence in the movie she could not gain more than just being noticed in the movie.

Though Katrina has achieved success at the Box Office, with movies like Race, Namaste London, and Singh Is King among others, so far she has not been able to make it big with Big B.

Hopefully working together in ‘Aarakshan’ will be give both the stars a reason to celebrate.
