Reportedly, Blue-eyed Bollywood actress and Bachchan bahu, Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan is busy convincing her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan to join twitter.

"A big hello from maa, I am insisting her 2 join Twitter," read an entry posted by Ash on her Twitter account.

The yesteryear actress-turned-politician celebrated her 62nd birthday on Friday and looks like, as per Aishwarya, the occasion is right for her mother-in-law to join Twitter.

Surprisingly, Jaya so far is the only member in the Bachchan family who has not joined any social networking site. On the other hand, Big B, Aishwarya and her husband Abhishek are all on Twitter and regularly post their views.

However, it’s not clear if Jaya will join the social networking site any time soon.

Bachchans posted B-day wishes for Jaya on internet
On Friday, Big B, Abhi, and Ash posted short messages on Twitter to wish Jaya Bachchan Happy Birthday.

Abhishek, who’s currently busy shooting for his next movie ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ in Goa tweeted on his Twitter page, “Today is the birthday of the mothership! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ma! Love you (sic)."

Big B, on the other hand, not just wished his lovely wife but also wished actress Sharmila Tagore, whose birthday also comes on April 9.

"Happy Birthday Jaya !! Happy Birthday Sharmila !! Who started this ritual of celebrating births, making and cutting cakes, singing birthday ditties, presenting gifts ..? I didn't and neither did any of the FmXt, I am certain. But, for years, the practice remains and flourishes... so be it !!," wrote Big B on his blog post on Friday.

Big B also wrote that Jaya, who was suffering from a stomach infection for quite some time, is now recovering.

Ash-Abhi gearing up for second honeymoon?
According to the latest tabloid buzz, Aishwarya and Abhishek are planning to leave for an undisclosed location on April 20 to spend their second wedding anniversary.

Apparently, the couple who are working together on Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film ‘Ravaana’, decided to take a break when the shooting schedule of the film got pushed ahead.
