However, Ranbir is keeping his fingers crossed to be able to sign on this project.
Ranbir falls in love with script
A music legend who is always remembered, Kishore Kumar is one musician who remains scorched in our memories for his drawling and sugary voice.
And to honor this legend’s genius, Bollywood filmmakers want to make a movie on the life and journey of this man, who is always known for his talent to sing and act.
Insiders revealed that Bollywood filmmakers Shashank Ghosh Nagesh Kukkunoor, Sudhir Mishra and Shoojit Sircar want to be involved in this particular project.
However, there have been rumors lately that when Ranbir was on his way to the ‘India Today Conclave 2010’ he was narrated the script by a writer of Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision, which got him instantly interested in the project.

Reportedly, insiders revealed that after hearing the full script in Delhi, Ranbir fell in with the story-line and is eager to be part of the venture.
Moreover, Ranbir had conveyed to Shree Ashtavinayak that he found the story quite appealing and was interested to be part of the film.
Sources stated, “He told them that it was very a entertaining story and he approved of it,”
However, Shree Ashtavinayak wants to have a talk with the director and also wants to sit with Ranbir to finalize so that they don’t have date clashes.
However, there have been reports that Shree Ashtavinayak has already got the confirmation from the crew to start soon.
Responding to the question about this biopic, Shree Ashtavinayak’s spokesman stated, “It’s too early to talk about this.”
However when reporters approached Leena Chandavarkar the wife of the late legend musician, she was astonished and couldn’t believe that Shree Ashtavinayak is eagerly planning to make a movie.
Though surprised at first, she felt it was understandable since everybody absolutely still loved her husband. As she stated, “Jo bhi banayenge, theek hi banayenge.”
Although she hopes that they don’t misconstrue the facts.
