Katrina brand ambassador of “Lux Purple Lotus and Cream soap”

At the product launch of Lux’s new product line named “Lux Purple Lotus and Cream soap” Tuesday, the company revealed stunning Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif as its new brand ambassador.

With this deal, Katrina has joined the bandwagon of divas like Madhubala, Hema Malini, Madhuri, Sri Devi, Juhi Chawla, Aishwarya, Kareena and Priyanka.

"We are very pleased to have Katrina Kaif on board, to endorse our new Lux Purple Lotus and Cream variant, enriched with essential beauty oils," said HUL Vice-President (Home and Skin Cleansing) Sudhanshu Vats in a statement confirming Katrina’s involvement with the brand.

Lux over the years has always been known for introducing exciting innovative variants for its consumers and here's another such variant which is sure to appeal to consumers with its unique purple color and sensuous aroma.”

Plot of Lux ad featuring Kat
After signing the deal with the company pretty Bollywood lass flew to Bangkok for four days to shoot for the 30-seconds long ad film.

In ad film hottie will be seen entering a late-night party where she accidently ends up touching a handsome guy. The guy (not surprisingly) was blown away with the soft smoothness of her skin and sparks fly between them.

Katrina expressed her joy after being made brand ambassador for Lux: "I feel honored to be chosen by Lux as the face of such an iconic brand. It is with great pride that I join the legendary Lux beauty brigade, and only hope that my association with the brand grows stronger in the years to come.

It is the ultimate aspiration of any bollywood star to be associated with a renowned beauty brand like Lux.”

Rise of Katrina in Bollywood
Slowly but steadily Katrina managed to snatch away all the important deals away from the reigning Bollywood queen Aishwarya Rai.

At first Nakshatra jewellery and Barbie doll endorsement, and now it is Lux. Reportedly, Kat will get a huge amount for endorsing Lux’s “Lux Purple Lotus and Cream soap.”

As per sources, the company feels that Kat is the new fad in the industry and Ash is growing old.
