Little girl named Krishna Thea Lakshmi
Padma Lakshmi an Indian born, living in the US, refused to name the father of her child.

Sources confirmed the news by calling it a medical miracle, as she had earlier struggled with endometriosis.

It was in last October that the news started doing the rounds that Lakshmi was pregnant and she suffering from a sore uterine condition, which could eventually lead to infertility.

More than 5.5 million women are affected in North America by endometriosis,
in which the lining of the uterus grows in other areas of the body.

Her rep had finally conveyed that the mother and the baby are doing well, and Lakshmi is in good spirits.

Last month, Lakshmi gave a hint about her daughter’s name, conveying that she‘s planning to give the child an Indian name. Supposedly after someone in her family and told her fans don’t expect to see an Anglicized name.

She stated, “It will be a classically Indian Sanskrit name.”

Sources said that the baby girl has been named Krishna.

Father’s name remains unconfirmed
Author Salman’s ex wife had earlier courted the founder of private equity firm Forstmann Little & Company, Teddy Forstmann.

However, Lakshmi’s rep is yet to confirm the father name of the little girl. Recent reports suggest that the father of the baby girl is supposedly Adam Dell, the brother of the computer tycoon Michael Dell.

Although, the top chef wanted to keep the gender of the child confidential until her birth, nevertheless she disclosed the secret, when she appeared on Jimmy Fallon's show.

However, when Jimmy Fallon asked, "What's happening with the baby now?", Padma faltered over her answer.

Padma Lakshmi sporadically used she and he, and said "She was kicking…uh…..he was kicking….I’m not saying which one".
