Mumbai, February 2 -- Bollywood’s notorious ex-flames Kareena and Shahid Kapoor are apparently all set to romance each other once again onscreen. The acrimonious couple will be doing a sizzling number for their much awaited yet delayed film 'Milenge Milenge'.

The duo, who parted ways two years ago amid towering tensions in the relationship, finally nodded ‘yes’ to shoot with each other.

However, it is believed that only after infinite pleas and negotiations, did the filmmakers of the jinxed movie finally get the leading stars to agree for the promotional song.

Talking about the ever-dueling duo, the director of ‘Milenge Milenge’ Satish Kaushik said, “Didn’t they shoot the Mauja hi Mauja item song in Jab We Met right after their split? So why wouldn’t they shoot a song for a music video, especially since it’s for the benefit of a film that stars the two of them? Himesh Reshammiya has recorded an outstanding track. Both Shahid and Kareena love it.”

After ‘Wanted’ which was Boney Kapoor's surprise box-office hit, the director never stopped feeling that his next release ‘Milenge Milenge’ will easily translate into a box office success story.

When asked about the promotional song, all he had to say was, “Himesh’s track would entice anyone. Yes, I’ve asked Kareena and Shahid. I’m sure they’ll do it.”

With the post-production work in its final stages, the producer is putting in a lot of effort to release the film as early as possible.

It appears that the release date will have to be pushed from February to March or April so that the Shahid-Kareena promotional music video can be recorded.

'Milenge Milenge' blends the usually successful romance genre of love and destiny. The film also stars Satish Shah, Delnaz Paul and Aarti Chabria.
