Aishwarya Rai's pet name at home is 'Gullu' and Salman's pet name is 'Sallu'.

"This is insane, God is great again," said ecstatic Rahman while accepting the coveted golden gramophones for “Jai Ho”. Lyrist Gulzar and Tanvi Shah penned the Spanish version of the song.
Rahman, who has already won two Academy awards and Golden Globes, has registered his victory in both categories he was nominated for. The categories were, 'Best compilation soundtrack for a motion picture’ and the ‘Best motion picture song’ for “Jai Ho.”
Other nomination in the best song compilation for a motion picture category were Steve Jordan for "Cadillac Records," Quentin Tarantino for "Inglourious Basterds", the producers of "Twilight" and "True Blood."
Rahman fourth Indian to win at Grammys
With this win, Rahman became the fourth Indian to have bagged the coveted award in the 51-year-old history of Grammys.
In 1967, sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar became the first ever Indian musician to register win in the Grammy awards for his performance in ‘West Meets East’ along with violinist Yehudi Menuhin in the category ‘Best Chamber Music Performance.’
Again in 1972, Pandit Shankar won Grammy for ‘The Concert for Bangladesh.’ His third win was registered in 2001 for ‘Full Circle – Carnegie Hall 2000.’
5 Grammys for Beyonce
Other than Rahman, Beyonce bagged ‘Song of the Year’ award for her smash hit song “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on it).”
Beyonce was the leading nominee in the award ceremony with 10 nominations, out of which she won five awards.
She also bagged “Best R&B contemporary album” award with her album “I Am…Sasha Fierce.”
