There is interesting chemistry and comradeship between the friends that make you feel more like its real. It relates to your college life, with the story unfolding in a simple manner with instances that are sure to bring a smile to your lips.

The three main actors have successfully pulled off their role of a student with so much ease. The movie begins with the present and takes you back to the college days of the ‘3 Idiots’ through a series of flashbacks.

Storyline of 3 Idiots
Rancho is a naughty and rebellious student of an engineering college. He raises questions against the education system that is being followed. However, his rebellious and impish behavior does not stop him from becoming a topper in his exams, which surprises everyone.

Rancho gives Farhan and Raju important knowledge about life, and teaches them not to lose hope. He makes Farhan convince his parents to let him choose a career of his choice. He becomes a hero for each and everybody in his college and smoothly strikes a chord with everyone.

His love interest is Pia (Kareena Kapoor) who is the daughter of the dreaded professor played by Boman Irani, which reminds us of the Munnabhai comedy with the similar background.

Rancho thus goes about changing everybody’s life, making them understand and discover their true calling and encourages everyone to go after their dreams and what they love to do.

However, soon after graduation day, Rancho strangely disappears into oblivion after winning the student of the year title. And it is in search of him that years later his friends set out on a journey.

The Bottom line
Although the movie is entertaining, it still has some loose ends. It is a feel good film; you can watch it for the extremely funny scenes that are sure to take anyone back to their own college days.

Director Rajkumar Hirani has proven once again that when he tells a story it is simple and uncomplicated, quite like the characters he brings to life.
