Chirpy Bird

Back from her daily rounds in the tinsel town, our bird from Bollywood is feeling chirpy again. This is what she has to twitter about:

Imran Khan in a defending mode
Imran’s latest flick “Luck” is all set to hit the screens. But when he was questioned that is it a remake of Hollywood flick “The Condemned”, he said, “Luck is neither a copy of The Condemned nor of the 13 Tzameti.

"There’s that one Russian roulette sequence which is 13 Tzameti. The rest of it is original. And for the love of God it is not The Condemned. What a crap movie that was.”

Katrina heads home to London
Actress Katrina Kaif has just completed shooting for Priyadarshan’s "De Dhana Dhan" and has now headed home to London for a much needed break.

Kaif will be spending the next one and half months in London with her family and will also celebrate her birthday on July 16 with her family.

She will be back in India in September and will be heading to Bhopal for the shooting of Prakash Jha’s “Rajneethi”.

Shruti Hasan will pay a musical tribute to King of Pop
Musician-actor Shruti Haasan, who is all set to debut in Soham Shah’s "Luck", is gearing up to pay tribute to the late King of Pop Michael Jackson on Aug. 29.

The show will be held at the Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai. Shruti’s actor father Kamal Haasan, along with music maestros AR Rahman, Shankar Mahadevan and others, will attend the extravaganza.

Hrithik grabs Abhi’s dream role
Abhishek Bachchan will have to take a backseat as it’s not him but Hrithik Roshan who will fill in the famous shoes of Amitabh Bachchan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, in the remake of “Agneepath”.

Recently, a lot of rumours were doing rounds as to who will star in the lead, as talks were on with both Hrithik and Abhishek Bachchan. It was reported that Agneepath was one of Abhishek’s favourite films and he would have loved to fill in the shoes of his dad.
Abhishek also mentioned that it was his dream to play one of his father’s characters and “Agneepath” was perhaps the best offer he could have expected.

Preity empathises with Shiney
When the entire press and film fraternity is busy condemning actor Shiney Ahuja, who is accused of raping his house-maid, there is one actress who is feeling compassionate about the whole episode.

Apparently, Preity Zinta thinks that Shiney Ahuja is one of those few unfortunate actors who get slammed down by media before the crime is confirmed.

Nandana Sen locks lips with a newcomer
Actress Nandana Sen is making news. Why? Because she has set the screen on fire by kissing co-star Anubhav Anand not one or two but three times.

No holds barred when it comes to Nandana’s on-screen image as a sexy diva, who really didn’t seem to shy away from kissing a newcomer like Anubhav for her new film “Perfect Mismatch”.

Looks like someone is going Mallika Sherawat’s way. Like they say, if it’s too hot to handle then just give the kiss a miss.

Vidya Balan finds one cricketer the hottest
The T20 cricket match fever has caught up in a big way, not only with the common man but also with Bollywood stars. Take the example of Vidya (Balan).

The actress has turned a cricketer fan too. And guess who her favorite cricketer is. It's Zaheer Khan!

What appeals to her is his shyness, she says. Vidya feels that Zaheer’s quite nature may give a different impression but he is a strong man from within.

Ranbir’s fans fail to recognize him
Ranbir has grown a beard and moustache these days as he will be playing a Sikh character in his forthcoming film “Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year”.

Last week, while the actor was out for a quiet dinner at a restaurant with girlfriend Deepika Padukone, fans approached Deepika for autographs. However, they failed to notice Ranbir because he looked so different.

Neha Dhupia faints at the PoW (Prisoner of War) Camp in Vietnam
A friend of the actress told that Neha traveled to Vietnam recently on a holiday trip. She had heard a lot about the POW Camp in Vietnam and was curious to know about it."

She added, “Neha visited the camp and was shocked to know about the pain that the people had tolerated over there. The truth was so bitter and harsh that Neha just could not digest it.

"She just fainted on hearing the people's horrible stories. Neha was so disturbed by it that she just remained quiet throughout the day. Neha felt slightly better only the next day."
